In Buenos Aires, a group of individuals, including four lawyers, attempted to seize over $345,000 intended as compensation for a man with a disability. The fraudsters forged signatures and documents to trick a court into ordering the money to be transferred to an account under their control. However, the victim's mother, noticing the irregularities, filed a complaint, leading the judge to halt the transfer. The investigation revealed that the criminals used fake medical certificates and forged documents to falsely claim the victim was capable of managing his finances. As a result, the prosecutor has brought charges of attempted fraud and forgery against nine individuals.
